The architectural expression for this project was inspired by the dynamic and fluid shape of one of nature’s most dominant elements in this region, the sand dunes. Another major inspiration behind the architectural expression used in this project is drawn from the traditional geometrical elements which are found in this region’s vernacular architecture such as the historical forts and watchtowers.

For instance, the undulating lines in the massing of the building grants a robust and unique character. While Merging the dynamic and fluid lines with the sophisticated calligraphic pattern is giving an identity for this State of the Art sculpture. This activation of flow forms an organic punctuation in the landscape and a desire for an urban acknowledgement of enthusiasm. The concept also provides a variety of naturally shaded, intimate and protected spaces , around which the multiple uses associated with the development are woven.

Also, the words of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum when he said “In the race for excellence, there is no finish line” were a major inspiration behind the design of this project. This quote sparked the idea of the infinity loop which the project’s layout and form were developed around.
